DAY OF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT FOR TCU GRAD STUDENTS
Thursday, January 7, 2010 | 9.00 am - 3.30 pm
Registration is open from October 26 to November 30!
TCU Graduate Studies, University Career Services and the Graduate Student Senate have combined efforts to offer a professional forum for TCU graduate students in all departments and programs!
This year's program includes
- a keynote from Don Asher about networking as a way to build professional relationships in any field and to potentially tap into an invisible job market,
- a panel discussion and Q&A session following the keynote,
- a luncheon where graduate students interact with table hosts from a variety of fields and industries, and
- breakout sessions on such topics as career development, personal grant writing, preparing a thesis or dissertation, and balancing family and work life.
This professional event is completely free of charge and includes a complimentary lunch. We hope you'll join us and your fellow graduate students for this beneficial program!
If you have any questions, please contact April Patrick-Wyatt by email or by phone (817.257.5648).
